Welcome to the homepage of the research training group GRK 1558.
We offer a platform for educating doctoral students in interdisciplinary research within three project areas. The projects started in October 2009 and are funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft.

Prof. Carlsson gives two lectures on "How Actin Polymerization Provides Force to Move Cells and Change Their Shape" on October 17 and 24
- Emergence of a rotational collective motion in a circular confined domain. In the red region, the adhesive bond formation to the substrate is reduced. Green denotes the concentration of adhesion sites, blue measures the absolute value of actin orientation
