Fields of interest
- (Temporal) network analysis
- Nonlinear dynamics and epidemiological models
- Monitoring networks with sentinel nodes and analysing a probability of infection of the network
Network analysis
[2]
- © Frederik Schirdewahn
Trading events on different weekdays. This was handy to estimate the activity of the considered network over a timespan.
Network analysis II
[3]
- © Frederik Schirdewahn
Median of trading events (blue dots) of single network nodes. The green line marks the confidence intervall.
Cluster analysis
[4]
- © Frederik Schirdewahn
Nodes of similar invasion paths grouped into same cluster by the Jaccard-Index. Here 18 greatest network cluster with similar infected- (red lines) and recovered-curve (blue lines) over time.
Cluster entropy
[5]
- © Frederik Schirdewahn
Since temporal invasion path change over time, once grouped clusters fade away over time as well. The figure shows a great entropy for a specific cluster which was grouped at the beginning of he observation.
Detection probability with Sentinel Nodes
[6]
- © Frederik Schirdewahn
Sentinel nodes can be found by different methods. The figure displays 18 separate sentinel nodes with its network characterization and the relative infection time of each sentinel.
