This lecture course will cover key aspects of modern theoretical condensed matter physics: Electronic structure of solids, density functional theory, crystal structure and symmetry, bandstructure theory, cohesion in solids, lattice vibrations, magnetism, and surface physics. All lectures will be given in English.
