Yuliya Kyrychko and Michael Jeffrey (University of Bristol)

At the moment the Bristol Centre for Applied Nonlinear Mathematics,

University of Bristol (Bristol, United Kingdom) is in the process of

recruiting new PhD students starting in October 2008. This is an exciting

opportunity for bright final year EU students to join the Department of

Engineering Mathematics and pursue their academic career in a vibrant and

unparalleled research environment. Full scholarships in the amount of

14400 pounds per annum (tax-free) will be provided to students for the

duration of their studies, and their tuition fees will be paid directly by

the University.

The details about the University of Bristol can be found at

and those of the Centre can be found at http://www.enm.bris.ac.uk/anm/

In this presentation we will give details about the PhD programmes in the

UK, the Department of Engineering Mathematics, life in Bristol and other

relevant topics, as well as answer any questions you might have. All final
