Two-photon purification of quantum light emission via quantum feedback
In this talk, the concept of matrix product states is introduced where a tensor-network formulation allows to only treat the relevant part of the exponentially large Hilbert-space. We show that with this method, time-dependent excitation combined with a non-Markovian environment can be simulated feasible in an numerical exact manner: The photon output of a single two-level system (TLS) under a time-dependent excitation can be controlled with quantum feedback, such that either a single or a two photon process is more probable.
