Training seminar for female scientists
On the 18th and 19th of November, 2014, female members of the SFB 910 took part in a training seminar entitled "The Art of Scientific Performance". It was held at the TU Berlin by Prof. Kristin Guttenberg and focused on improving presence and body language in typical scientific environments, as well as training soft skills for giving presentations.

IFISC Colloquium "Adaptive Control and Synchronization in Delay-Coupled Complex Networks"
Prof. Dr. Eckehard Schöll, PhD, coordinator of the SFB 910, was invited to present the Second IFISC Colloquium in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, on 27 June 2012. His talk, titled "Adaptive Control and Synchronization in Delay-Coupled Complex Networks" can be viewed online at the IFISC website.
76th Annual Meeting of the Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft and DPG Spring Meeting
The 76th Annual Meeting of the Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft and DPG Spring Meeting, which took place at TU Berlin from 25-30 March 2012, (local organizer: Eckehard Schöll) was attended by 6.200 participants. This was the largest Physics Conference in Europe. The SFB 910 was represented by a Symposium on "Control of Network Dynamics", jointly organized by Eckehard Schöll (Berlin) and Stefan Bornholdt (Bremen), which was also live-streamed to the Lab of Control of Complex Systems of the Russian Academy of Sciences St. Petersburg (German-Russian Interdisciplinary Science Center).
Videos of the symposium can be viewed on this page.

Parent-Children Room
Together with the SFB 787 and the GRK 1558, the SFB 910 has established a parent-children room in the physics building on the TU Berlin campus (EW 007). It will be open as of the beginning of the new semester (i.e. 19th of October). All students and employees with children are welcome to take advantage of the new facilities!
